Hours:    Regular hours 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
               Night, weekend, and holiday use is available for approved users.

Directions to the laboratory:
       
The Academic Research Building (ARB) is part of the Health Center complex. It is connected to the Communicore Building on the northeast side of the complex. The outside entrance of the ARB faces the Brain Institute building.

Find the Founders' Gallery (area with the faux brick flooring and Founders' portraits) on the first floor of the Academic Research Building by entering from the Communicore on the first floor, or by entering the ARB building via the glass doors at the top of the terraced pation in the center of the building.

From the Founders' Gallery, take either the stairwell or the freight elevator to the basement (not the ground floor).  When you emerge from the stairwell or the elevator, take a right and go to the end of the hall.  The entrance to the facility is at the end of the hall (Room RB-167).  Dr. Verlander's office is the first door on the left after you enter the front door.
